A kindergarten teacher turned millionaire –and then I beat Cancer
This is my story of finding MORE
Over 15 years ago, my journey as a kindergarten teacher ended, and my entrepreneurial path began. Even though I adored teaching– I realized that being in the classroom full-time wouldn't allow me to be the devoted Mom I wanted to be to my two boys, Jeremiah and Noah.
So I left the classroom to find a way to spend more time with my family, all while creating a business that provided more financial security than a $30 000 per year teaching salary.
But just as I left teaching –
financial disaster struck my family
In 2008 when the markets crashed, we had to file bankruptcy and let go of the ten homes we had spent years working on to rent out.
Our dreams and efforts shattered in the blink of an eye.
My husband and I had many sleepless nights as we grappled with the reality of our situation, poring over our finances and trying to make ends meet. We had two little boys to look after.
And in my desperation, I thought teaching was the only way to escape this big black hole. But I couldn’t stand the thought of leaving my kids at daycare while I took care of other people’s children.
I knew I had to find a better way to provide for my family.
It was time to rethink my next steps – FAST!
Determined not to compromise my role as a mom, I began to build a home-based health and wellness business that changed everything.
It satisfied my longing to teach, and at the same time, I could be the devoted Mom and Wife my family deserved.
But after four years of making just under six figures, I knew MORE was in the cards for me because my soul was yearning for something bigger.
That's when I started my current business.
With a passion for health and wellness, daily dedication, and the right systems in place, I became a millionaire network marketing leader in just 2.5 years.
No longer was I limited by someone else's hours or income ceiling. I was able to merge all of my passions into one place: sharing a product I love, teaching others how to build their own successful business from home, and spending precious time with my family.
2020 - Tragedy Strikes …AGAIN
In 2020, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and that shook our family to the core. Crushing cancer changed my definition of abundance leading me to focus on holistic success, intentional living, and the overwhelming power of gratitude.
Now, no matter what life throws at me, there is always a reason to be grateful.
Where I am today
I'm a celebrated author, dynamic speaker, strategic business coach, and leader who aims to empower women to transform their lives into healthier, happier, joy-filled experiences.
Speaking on stages with audiences of up to 30,000 people and collaborating with renowned entities like Level, Go Finity, Westminster Academy Fort Lauderdale, OHHO, and more. I've established myself as a force in the business mentorship space.
My mission to inspire all women to cultivate a life they love, practice deep gratitude, and build freedom-filled business success.
